Construction guidance
Paper planes
The high art of building a paper plane is nowadays a common activity. We at “Queenswood Times” are pretty sure that every one of us is more or less a talented paper plane instructor. There are two conditions necessary to make a paper airplane that flies well. It must be able to glide well and it must have good stability. We want to give you some advises that illustrate how to make a unique folded paper plane. No scissors, glue or tape are required for the paper airplane, just a single piece of paper A4. Build probably one of the best paper planes in the world in following our easy construction guidance. And if you may ask your self:” Is making paper planes really a sport?” Can we just reply: “The proof of the pudding is in eating ! ”
How to make:
1. Fold paper in half lengthways, to find centre line, and then fold two corners into centre line
2. Fold top triangle down. It should now resemble an envelope.
3. Fold in the two corners again, leaving triangular point sticking out
4. Fold triangle back up over corners to hold them down
5. Fold in half along centre line, leaving triangle on the outside
6. Fold wings back upon themselves carefully finding the halfway line
NB: This plane can be transformed into a stunt paper plane by lifting flaps slightly at the back. It will then fly and return to your hand. Plane will perform best a low launch speeds
